Bite Proof Bite Block prevents the patient from biting the endotracheal tube and cuff inflating tube. The latex free Bite Proof Bite Block fits onto 5 – 9 mm endotracheal tubes and typically is used for short term intubations and procedures. The unique design allows for unobstructed access to the oral cavity. The Bite Proof Bite Block is placed on the endotracheal tube and the hypoallergenic adhesive-backed wing is placed on the cheek to secure the bite block placement. It can also be used for protection of closed suction catheters, endoscopes, bronchoscopes and oral gastric tubes.
